I’ve had a Salter body fat “dumb” scale for years and it had started to get a bit hit or miss on whether it wanted to turn on.This was a replacement and my first impression was the small size. Not a problem as they work well. I’m a bit chunky with size 9 feet and could happily use these so for me the size was a change but not an issue.App integration is basic but perfectly functional. Data syncs nicely with apple health so that workouts and steps are all kept together with weight, BMI and others.The App to download works seamlessly. Having it open on your phone is all it takes for the scale to sync. This is indicated with a Bluetooth symbol solid on the scale screen. Once a measurement is completed your phone will as if you want to save new data. This is important as when you are weighing the cat, dog, or holiday luggage you don’t want to accidentally record data. Individual data can be listed and deleted later.The screen is a red LED with big clear numbers that are easy to read in bright sunshine.My only 1 niggle is for someone who has lived with my weight measured in stone and pounds eg 13st 1lb these scales only deliver weight in kg or lb. Ok it’s just a simple recalibration of my Sauvignon Blanc addled brain but I did find it quite unsettling to workout if what I was seeing was good or bad.

It’s good to track adult weight but doesn’t allow kids. I tried to add my kids, 1 was ok, the other wouldn’t accept DOB. I just get the error message (pictured) about age must be from 0 to 99, I’m pretty sure they’re in that range.

I am constantly keeping an eye on my weight and have been using the scale in my local gp surgery , so when I saw these I jumped at the chance of buying them .I placed my order using Prime and they were delivered the following day .The packaging is quality ,Inside you get the Instructions to donload and set up the Adoric Health app which gives you a detailed breakdown of your weight ...This is something i haven't done yet as I am without a mobile presently . However I can read my weight which is the main reason for wanting them.I never even realised there were 8 measures of weight , but these scales track them all Body Fat , Weight , water percentage , BMR ( basal metabolic rate ) Bone mass , Muscle Mass , BMI and Visceral fat .This is something you would pay for in a gymThe scales them self are made from a beautiful material that looks high quality ,unlike some scales the tempered glass top is comfortable to stand on . and when your like me , a bit of a dinosaur you may want to change the settings from Kgs to Stones and Lbs , makes them much easier to red as a weight scale if not using the app t convert . know that they are extremely accurate as I had just visited the gps scale before I set them up .I highly recommend these scales not only are they smart in looks they are smart with the app and a bargain at the price .

Our old scales are made from glass and they still work, but one of the corners has smashed off. When we bought the old scales we were SO impressed that you could program different family members in and the scales told you their BMI and % body fat and % water.Well 10 (maybe even 15 years on) these give us all of the same measurements - except you don't have to remember what number you are and accidentally step on to your husbands number - these ones sync with your phone! You can put in a name and photo for each account and as long as that profile is open, the weight can be saved to that person.The scales are much smaller and I certainly wouldn't want them any smaller. I have compared them with the old scales from an accuracy point of view and they weigh perfectly.I was going to give a 4 star rating because I had to add 2 years to my daughters age to get the app to add her on, but actually I contacted the customer service department by email and they were very helpful and so appreciative of my feedback. They said they would look in to this and update their app appropriately, I felt that the customer service was excellent so that deserves a 5 :)We are very happy with our new scales and now we just need to get the numbers to reduce! LOL!
