🔧 Unleash the Power of Speed and Precision!
The 8000 B Speed Ratchet is a revolutionary tool that combines the functionality of five ratchets into one compact design. With a reversible ratchet featuring 72 fine-pitched teeth, it allows for quick and precise adjustments in tight spaces. The swivel head locks into five different positions, while the ergonomic Kraftform handle ensures comfort and high-speed torque transfer, making it an essential addition to any professional's toolkit.

Wera Zyklop - handy and durable though maybe not revolutionary
Picked up this ratchet because I am constantly using a 6" extension to rotate nuts down long studs on my car. I usually use a junky ratchet, take off the extension and socket from the ratchet and spin the nut down until it stops and then tighten with the ratchet. With the Wera Zyklops you can avoid all of that by pressing the swivel release and positioning the ratchet head at a 0 degree angle (straight) and spin the ratchet while holding it on the free-spinning shaft. This makes it SO much nicer than basically taking my ratchet apart to spin a nut, just to put it back together. I do wish that the ratchet had more angles you could lock it at other than 90, 15, and 0 degrees. 45 degrees might be nice, or 60 deg, etc. but as it is designed is just fine. It has 72 teeth which is "fine" enough honestly. I am spoiled with some 84 tooth ratchets but the rotation required between the two is so moderate it would be hard to tell which is which without knowing. Only complaint per se is that I wish the ratchet head was not sealed. I like to lube my ratchets because 9 times out of 10 the manufacturer uses junky lubricant or it breaks down over time. It appears as though the Wera Zyklop has a sealed head which, while it makes it unlikely that lube would leak out, means you cannot lubricate the gears with your favorite lube should the ratchet get loud or gritty (which it shouldn't, but you get the idea).GREAT ratchet over all - almost feel bad using it for what it is designed for - its nice to look at!

Big fan
I liked it enough to buy one for my brother, and one for a friend.Comfortable in hand.So far, no issues. This ratchet has not jammed on tough bolts and it hasn’t slipped any teeth. Seems pretty durable.Overall I’m impressed.

Favorite tool in garage
I didn’t want to leave a review too early; 7 months later I must say I love this tool. Worth the big price tag.

It's solid
Wera is on the pricey side but they've got some nice stuff and good twists one a few classics, and the Zyklops is one of them. With a couple of extension pieces you could easily have this replace most of your nut drivers as well (there's a little plastic sleeve for quick running), all if you never work with long threaded rods. Easy to swap rotation, easy and firm to disengage/hold a socket, and the rotatable head was more useful than I expected.

Good product with flaws
A good ratchet. The engineering is genius, but the execution could've been slightly better. I'm an aircraft mechanic and truthfully got excited when I saw this product. The functionality is great, the only problems being the swivel head makes it a little wide to get into small spaces, and the straight-mode has a tendency to unlock by itself and swivel on me. Not a problem worth returning but it is worth noting. Overall a good product with a few flaws.

I wasn’t sure it’d be all that useful beyond a normal ratchet but I was wrong
So my first real test run with this was building a geodome playset for my 2 year olds birthday that came very late the night before by way of her grand parents and with a socket, set a bit adapter, bits and a agjustable watcher the job was done completed much easier than I expected. You can spin tighten with it strait ahead like a screw driver then with a quick button press finish tightening with it like a nice normal ratchet without having to change tools, for me this was very useful. Given the price and how much you’ll use it you’ll have to make that determination for your self but I am very happy with my purchase.
