Fit onto the jacket provided by my work. Have yet to try it in adverse conditions. Never worn either, never washed either, but there is a slight difference in the color of the two materials.

I purchased this hood for use on a 1997 Bulwark NOMEX III A coat. The 3 snaps on the hood fit the coat perfectly. The color is a little different, even compared to the portion of the coat protected from sun by the collar. Not a problem since I'm no fashion model!I think the fit is a good compromise to allow it to be usable without a hardhat but also fit over one if needed. If I were always using it over a hardhat I would ideally want it to be just a little larger. Thankfully I'm not always wearing a hard hat at work.Overall I'm happy with the purchase and only wish that I had it last January when I spent many cold graveyard shifts outside at work!

It works.

the neck closure is tight and hard hat doesn't fit under it very well, cannot fasten with hard hat on. But does keep the wind out of ears. Strings need to be longer to use with hard hat.

Fit like a glove and the color matched well!

Claiming a universal fit is misleading and falsely advertising a product.
