Thanos: Infinity Abyss

Amazing!
I'm a big Jim Starlin fan from way back, and somehow I missed this gem when it was first released. I recently found it was being re-released so I ordered a copy month ago before it came out. It's from 2002. It was just the way I like my comics, cosmic. What an awesome story. More Adam Warlock (Though I really do not like the look Starlin used for him this time around, I prefer his earlier incarnations. He looks too much like Doc Savage now.) More Thanos and more Captain Marvel (Son of the REAL Universal Protector and another one Marvel killed too early.) To me this is the best kind of comics story. Vast cosmic action, a universe threatening event and only a handful of heroes able to stand against it all. Starlin did his usual great job here. His artwork is still the best ever. This was a great cosmic adventure!

Good Starlin Work
Not great, but it does include some of Jim Starlin's greatest characters. Well, Adam Warlock was actually brought to significance by Starlin after being created by others then allowed to languish by Marvel until Starlin got his hands on him and added the Magus identity to Warlock's kismet(?!??). Seeing the transition Adam undergoes as the story unfolds is a nice touch of the sort Jim Starlin brings to his work. Still though this story seems more about stage-setting, it is always enjoyable to find oneself awash in Starlin's cosmic realities...

STARLIN GOLD
STARLIN GOLD, the art is great and so is the story. It is a must read in the continuity of Thanos, read before INFINITY

infinity cartoon
I'm only half way through but this infinity series is very different than the previous. The plot is more childish and lacks peril. Characters are just lame. Worst of all is the artwork. I can't stand the colors or penciling. Looks like a Saturday morning cartoon.

Bon
Je m’attendais à plus mais quand même bien, final un peu trop expéditive
